NICOLA MOUNTNEY

Artist, Nicola Mountney is originally from London and is now based in Tuscany.

Nicola spent 10 years studying and instructing Tibetan Buddhist Thankga (scroll) painting , From this has developed her own style of painting with a strong emphasis on precision, colour and detail. Her frequent travels in India and Nepal led her in the direction of creating a fusion of East and West artistic styles.

All of Nicola’s paintings are framed with mounts that compliment the subject matter. Although many of her subjects are mythical, Nicola draws her inspiration from nature..

She is represented in the UK by ArtDog London and exhibits in the artdog gallery and at art fairs.
