NOW YOU CAN BUY DIRECTLY FROM OUR SITE

Art works and sculpture from most of our artists is now available to buy directly from our site.

While nothing compares to the actual gallery experience buying online has become a popular option, especially in the last few months. For those of you who have purchased from us, you know that our artists are all hugely accomplished and are very reasonably priced.
If you are considering buying from our site and you have any questions, do feel free to contact me directly and I will be happy to email or phone you and discuss any queries you have. My email is pippa@artdoglondon.co.uk. I am in the Suffolk countryside with little phone signal but if you send me your phone number I will ring you from my landline.

NEW GALLERY

The reason I am deepest darkest Suffolk at the moment is because our new gallery is being built in Honor Oak at the moment. If you are in the area the address is 23 Brockley Rise, se23 1jg. If you are strolling or driving by have a peek. We are now scheduled to be finished by the end of October.
it does seem to have taken ages but in reality it has been less than 2 years from purchase to this point and that has been with some huge hurdles along the way and then Covid, so in retrospect it was not too bad. Fingers crossed for no more holdups in the coming months.

I will be announcing the opening via mailchimp and all the ArtDog social media and I will have a full list of our exhibition schedule soon.

ART IN THE TIME OF LOCKDOWN - REBECCA FONTAINE-WOLF & DARREN LYNDE MANN

REBECCA FONTAINE-WOLF
ArtDog London has 5 new mixed media and digital artworks available from London artist Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf. Rebecca has been stuck in Lisbon during the Corona Crisis, here is her story:
"This CoVid-19 Lockdown has been quite challenging, as it has no doubt been for all of us. After coming to Lisbon for my first solo show here in March, I was due to start a 2 month residency. The show was closed early and the residency cancelled. I have now found myself alone in an airbnb in Lisbon, where I will stay until June".

"Thankfully, I have enough space here to have been able to create a make-shift studio in my flat by moving furniture around and was also still able to order materials online. Due to the nature of being in an airbnb I can’t create using my normal working methods and have had to adapt my practice to this new situation".

"The current crisis and the very isolated state I find myself in have also impacted the subject matter of the work I’ve been creating. A new direction which will lead towards a full body of work eventually has begun to emerge. I've turned in on myself, and in this act of self reflection I have once again become the model, and subject of my own work. The main focus is on themes around isolation, self-reflection, the strange sense of self-othering which occurs when every interaction you have with other people is mediated by a screen in which you can see yourself reflected back at you".
